Pasteurella multocida It's gram negative, zoonotic bacteria. It's oxidase positive. It's a natural inhabitant of skin, oral cavity, and digestive tract of cats. It can spread to humans via bite wounds when the cat's saliva enters the open wound. It causes Pasteurellosis (named after Louis Pasteur).
