Have you ever wondered what we do with the sea turtle hatchlings that are brought to us but aren't quite ready to go out to the ocean yet? The hatchlings go through the following stages with our team here at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center: 1. First, we collect the hatchlings from cooler right outside the nature center's front doors. 2. We check for injuries and strength of each one. Strong hatchlings are released. Weak and injured ones go to our Rehabilitation Facility. 3. They go through a swim test
