Stirling Castle is one of the largest and most historically and architecturally important castles in Scotland. The views are breathtaking as this is where the lowlands meet the highlands and you can also see the distinctive National Wallace Monument in the distance which is a sight to behold! The castle dates back to at least the 12th century if not older. Famous for being the home of King James V and Mary of Guise, it is also the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots.
