Recently, Furkids was called upon to help rescue dozens of cats and kittens from a filthy, run-down home. Three of the rescued kittens have Swimmer’s Syndrome, a congenital condition that can occur in young kittens, causing the legs to splay to the side. The great news is that with a strong therapy regimen, Swimmer’s Syndrome can be corrected. We’re working 24x7 to bottle feed and care for the "Furkids Swim Team" so they’ll grow up healthy and strong – and have a much better chance of adoption!

Emmer update! Emmer has Swimmer’s Syndrome - an uncommon condition in kittens hindering the use of the back legs due to malformation of the limbs. It can be corrected with physical therapy if caught early, and lucky for Emmer, she has made so much progress already.
