This is how plants breathe. 🌿 These microscopic pores, called stomata, are found on the surface of leaves and act like tiny gateways for gas exchange. They open to let in carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, release oxygen back into the air, and help control how much water escapes from the plant. What makes them even more fascinating is how smart the system is. Each pore is controlled by two guard cells that open or close depending on water levels, heat, and stress.
