It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Parviz Kardan, one of the pioneers of the Iranian stage, screen, and television. Mr. Kardan was born in Shiraz on October 20, 1937, and started his artistic career in 1959 by acting on stage and on television.
