BOWLINE KNOT (a must know knot) Possibly the most important knot. Make a small loop near the end of the rope with the working end (the end you’re working with) on top. That little loop is the “rabbit hole.” Take the working end and pass it up through the small loop (out of the rabbit hole). Wrap the working end around the long part of the rope. Pass the working end back through the small loop (the rabbit goes back into the hole). Tighten the knot by pulling the long part of the rope and the work
