The storied World War II submarine, "USS Cobia," arrived at Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay for a four-to-six-week, $1.5-million restoration. Today I was honored to be an Honorary Chair of the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival in New London, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy. ⚓️ It was wonderful to join community leaders, shipmates, and neighbors in recognizing Connecticut’s proud naval history and deep maritime roots.
