A tribute to the C17 Globemaster III. The C17 is by far my favourite plane to fly to Antarctica on. It’s obvious that these planes are designed to move a large number of people and a large amount of cargo. How scientists drilled the oldest ice core in the world 🧊 Scientists have successfully extracted the world’s oldest ice core at Little Dome C in East Antarctica.
