In case you’ve ever wondered whether a vintage Teisco could sing the blues, Arlen Roth tuned his to open D so he could play slide in tribute to Ry Cooder, who turns 69 today. The tune is "Landslide," from "Guitarist," Arlen’s first album on Rounder. In the background are two classic Gibsons – a ’59 ES-225 TDN and a ’60 ES-330 TDN, along with a ’70s Schecter.
