After one day of rest, the Vancouver Canucks are back in action at the 2025 IIHF World Championship. All four of the participating Canucks got the day off on May 13, while Canada, Latvia, Germany, and Hungary all won their games.

Recently, reports claimed that the Vancouver Canucks were looking to hire a first-time head coach to replace the departed Rick Tocchet, and it seems those reports were indeed true. According to TSN's Darren Dreger,
