Netflix's long-gestating Dragon's Lair video game adaptation may have finally found a director for the Ryan Reynolds-produced movie.

Ryan Reynolds is attached to star as well as produce the feature, which was first set up in 2020. Also producing are Roy Lee, via his Vertigo Entertainment, with Trevor Engelson of Underground Films. Don Bluth, Gary Goldman and Jon Pomeroy are also producing.

Filmmaker James Bobin, who helmed Disney's The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted, is being eyed to direct Ryan Reynolds-led cinematic adaptation of the video game series Dragon’s Lair for Netflix.
