Drake Maye met up with injured Celtics forward Jayson Tatum after the Patriots' closed out joint practices with the Commanders.

The New England Patriots welcomed the Washington Commanders to Foxborough for a joint practice on Wednesday. It was a highly competitive and physical practice that ended with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel showing off a little blood on the side of his face.

Vrabel emerged from the tussle with a bloody cheek. It appeared as though he was nicked in the face by a shoulder pad, according to a 12 Sports reporter who witnessed the incident. While the altercation was minor, Vrabel made headlines for entering the fray.
