As the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, only one loss out of the fourth, they could improve or ruin their playoff picture with a trade. A recent report mentioned a Pacers wing in a potential trade with the Los Angeles Lakers .

The Indiana Pacers have the best record in the NBA in the month of January. They are 10-2 and look like they are one of the best teams in the league. Indiana is finally healthy, which is why they are starting to make this run up the Eastern Conference standings.

On Wednesday, after returning back home from Paris, the Indiana Pacers picked up where they left off, beating the Detroit Pistons 133-119. Pascal Siakam was unstoppable, scoring 37 points, which is the most he has traded since joining the team midway through last season.

So far this season, Siakam is averaging 20.5 points per game and is shooting an average of 53% from the field.
