LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- In-N-Out's president says she is moving out of California saying, "doing business is not easy here." Lynsi Snyder announced last week on the "Relatable" podcast, hosted by conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey, she is planning on taking her family to Tennessee.

As California’s much-loved hamburger chain In-N-Out Burger expands across the country into Tennessee, billionaire owner and CEO Lynsi Snyder has announced she and her family are going with it and heading east,

The CEO's comments and her family's move have drawn some backlash. Some In-N-Out fans see it as a betrayal of the state that built her business.

This week, its billionaire owner and CEO, Lynsi Snyder, born and raised in California, said she will be trading her roots for a new life in Tennessee. Snyder shared her love for California, along with why she’s leaving, in a recent “Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey” podcast.

Despite the move, Snyder remains committed to In-N-Out's California heritage. She plans to fulfill her late father's vision by consolidating the company's Irvine and Baldwin Park offices at the latter location (the site of In-N-Out's first restaurant in 1948) within the next five years.

Lynsi Snyder, president of the famous In-N-Out Burger chain, announced last week that she is leaving the state of California due to cultural changes in the deep-blue state. She said she's moving the company headquarters with her to Tennessee.
