For the first time ever, the NFL will play a game on “Thanksgiving Eve” with a standalone showcase on Wednesday, November 25. Green Bay visits the L.A. Rams for an 8 p.m. ET primetime kickoff. That contest and the Black Friday game bookend the usual three Thursday matchups.
The Chicago Bears once again will play the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day at Ford Field in Detroit. For the second time in three years and the fifth time since 2018, the Bears and Lions will kick off the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate at noon CT on CBS.
The Packers will meet the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Sofi Stadium, with kickoff at 7 p.m. local time. It's the first game on the 2026 schedule the team has announced ahead of the official release on May 14. The Thanksgiving Eve game, a first ever for the NFL, will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
Netflix will televise a game between the Packers and the Rams on Wednesday, November 25. The NFL also plans to hold three games on Thanksgiving and at least one game is expected to be played on Black Friday.
