Across the region on Tuesday night, bright lights could be seen in the sky, and it was a rocket launch out of Florida.

SpaceX launched 28 Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Force Station in Florida on Thursday. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at around 8:29 a.m. This was the 10th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission.

Visible across the Northeast, the bright, pill-shaped light was the exhaust plume from the United Launch Alliance's Vulcan Centaur rocket.
