There’s now another branch of the Sean McVay coaching tree in the NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals plan to hire Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur as their next head coach, according to NFL Network. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the two sides are working to finalize a five-year deal, which will make it official.

LaFleur spent the last three seasons with the Rams, who led the NFL in multiple offensive categories in 2025, including points per game, yards per game, passing yards per game, offensive touchdowns and passing touchdowns.
