Five prime-time games appear set

That leads into a stacked menu of three Thanksgiving games on Thursday, Nov. 26: the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions as the appetizer, the Philadelphia Eagles at the Dallas Cowboys for the main course and the Kansas City Chiefs at the Buffalo Bills for dessert on NBC and Peacock.
For the first time ever, the NFL will play a game on “Thanksgiving Eve” with a standalone showcase on Wednesday, November 25. Green Bay visits the L.A. Rams for an 8 p.m. ET primetime kickoff. That contest and the Black Friday game bookend the usual three Thursday matchups.

Netflix will televise a game between the Packers and the Rams on Wednesday, November 25. The NFL also plans to hold three games on Thanksgiving and at least one game is expected to be played on Black Friday.
Netflix takes a lot of pride in its scripted originals but is growing more focused on the ultimate reality program: NFL football. The streaming titan will show five NFL games next season, compared with the two Christmas Day games it has offered for the past three years.
