A fire broke out at an abandoned building at Liberty Station on Wednesday night, officials said. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 2750 Cushing Road just after 8:30 p.m. and called a second-alarm response nearly 15 minutes later, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

San Diego Fire-Rescue is working to fight a blaze at an abandoned building in Liberty Station. The fire was called in shortly after 8:30 p.m. along the 2400 block of Cushing Road.
