Enzo Maresca admits Chelsea 's preparations for next season have been "very complicated" after the Blues returned to action less than a month after winning the Club World Cup final.

Enzo Maresca hinted that Chelsea will dip back into the transfer market after the serious injury sustained by defender Levi Colwill. Colwill played a crucial role in Maresca’s first season, but will miss the majority of the upcoming campaign after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury on the first day of Chelsea’s pre-season.

Chelsea have been busy in the transfer window so far, and their spending spree is showing no signs of slowing down.
