PGA's Genesis Invitational relocates to Torrey Pines due to LA fires, first day wraps amidst heavy rain
SAN DIEGO — The Genesis Invitational, a PGA Tour event typically held in Los Angeles, has been moved to Torrey Pines in San Diego for the second time in less than a month due to recent fires in the LA area. The tournament started Thursday, weather permitting, with all four rounds to be played on the South Course at Torrey Pines.
