Winter storm warnings issued in 13 states—snow, ice, dangerous cold & severe flooding expected
Winter storm warnings and advisories are now in effect for 13 states as snow, ice and dangerous travel conditions spread across the Northern Plains, Midwest and Northeast.
The southern Rocky Mountain Front and the east Glacier Park Region could get up to 15 inches of snow and winds between 40mph and 50 mph until Friday night, and the Snowy and Judith Mountains and areas in Fergus county (below 4,500 feet) could get between 5 and 12 inches of snow until Friday night.
The snow will largely fall overnight, but hazardous road conditions may affect the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
On Tuesday at 1:19 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 4 a.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. for Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties.
