OMAHA, Neb. – Travelers in Omaha, Nebraska, encountered an unusual scene on the road: a gaping hole in the ground. The Omaha Police Department captured the shocking scene of two vehicles found almost buried in a sinkhole.
Another sinkhole opened along Route 772 just a few houses from the massive collapse that shut down the road for more than a week.
CCTV footage captured the moment a sinkhole formed suddenly in Omaha, Nebraska, and swallowed two cars stopped at a red light. Omaha Police said the two drivers were able to get out of their vehicles by the time emergency crews arrived.
