Royals rumors: KC has no shortage of remaining trade partners for pitching surplus
The Royals still have a plethora of MLB starting pitching, but according to Jon Heyman, perhaps there's still plenty of teams for them to make a deal with.
While the Royals are rumored to be unlikely to trade for Jarren Duran after early offseason rumors linked them to the Boston Red Sox outfielder, another All-Star does make sense as a trade candidate. In addition to Duran, the Royals were previously linked to a possible trade for St. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Brendan Donovan.
It appears that the Royals are swinging and missing on Brendan Donovan and Jarren Duran. New reporting says Kansas City won't get them.

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Royals are not likely to swing a trade for an outfielder, with Boston Red Sox star Jarren Duran and St. Louis Cardinals star Brendan Donovan unlikely to come to Kansas City.
The Royals have been fairly active this offseason on the trade market and have already worked out deals that brought outfielder Isaac Collins (alongside righty Nick Mears) and lefty setup man Matt Strahm to Kansas City.
