The Broncos have regained the top spot in the AFC during the Patriots' bye week with their win over the Raiders.

Both teams are now 11-2 and the Broncos will move on to a home game against the Packers in Week 15. The Broncos sewed up the win by grinding down the Raiders over the course of the afternoon. Their three scoring drives covered more than 28 minutes of game action and they wound up possessing the ball for nearly 40 minutes of the win.

Marvin Mims Jr.’s 49-yard touchdown punt return in the second quarter has the Broncos leading the Las Vegas Raiders, 14-7 at halftime here Sunday before a largely orange jersey-clad crowd at Allegiant Stadium.

With a win over the Raiders, the Broncos can quietly clinch a key tiebreaker over the Patriots that could decide AFC seeding.

Denver tilted the momentum – and the lead – back over to their sideline, thanks to special teams. Backed up against the Raiders' own end zone, AJ Cole punted the ball to All-Pro returner Marvin Mims who churned out 48 yards to the house.

The Broncos moved to 11-2 on the season, with a tight grip on the AFC West. Week 14's win at Allegiant Stadium also secured the No. 1 seed for Denver, despite the on-bye New England Patriots sharing their record. Denver deepened its tiebreakers over New England by vanquishing the Raiders twice.
