GRISWOLD — A police officer directing traffic during the Snowflake Parade in Griswold was hit by a vehicle Saturday evening, according to Connecticut State Police. State police said the Jewett City Fire Police officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to Backus Hospital for treatment.
