An emerging star of Australian cricket will travel to South Africa ahead of the highly-anticipated Test tour, but World Cup winning batter Marnus Labuschagne has been axed from the one-day international squad.

That means a return to Australian colours for some of the nation’s biggest stars, but also the axing an under-fire batter as Pat Cummins or Mitchel Marsh’s side (depending on who’s playing on the day) build towards next year’s ODI World Cup in southern Africa.
