The Cartoon Art Museum, established in 1984, opened in its new home in October on Beach Street in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf area.

That doesn’t even begin to describe everything that’s going on behind the walls of the new Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum on the Ohio State University campus, which opened Nov. 16.

The Cartoon Museum is run as a charity, in order to represent British cartoons, caricatures, comic strips and animation. The museum hosts a library of over 5,000 books and 4,000 comics.
