Some baseball fans are getting big bucks online for MLB hats with rather provocative design flaws. Here's what happened.

The MLB regular season will start soon, which means a slew of new merchandise and hats are being released. That includes a line of New Era caps, which, for a couple of teams, have already been removed from their fan shops amid some potentially vulgar appearances.

It's gotten to the point where MLB is pulling several Overlap hats from the team stores. Earlier this week, MLB pulled the Overlap hat for the Texas Rangers after the design happened to spell out a vulgar word in Spanish — something that was missed throughout the design and approval process.

The special-issue hats, featuring the team's wordmark in the background and primary logo in the front, have been the subject of online ridicule this week

And this is all a little reminiscent of when the Oakland Athletics accidentally released a hat that had the word “Ass” written front and center. Seems like the MLB has all of their bases covered with their “Tetas” and “Ass” hats, am I right?
