Barr leads competitive Kentucky Senate primary to succeed McConnell
(WHTM) – Congressman Andy Barr (R) is leading a competitive primary race to replace retiring Senator Mitch McConnell (R) in November, according to a new Emerson College Polling survey. The poll of likely Kentucky Republican primary voters shows Barr with 24% support over former Attorney General Daniel Cameron (21%) and businessman Nate Morris (14%).
If passed, the bill would take effect July 1, 2026.
