The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings for all counties along and south of Highway 14. Warnings will be in effect from early Saturday morning into early Sunday morning. Highway 14 should be the line that separates heavy to moderate snowfall amounts.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties for Thursday and Friday. Significant snowfall is likely.

We’re still on track for a Friday–Saturday winter storm, and it’s starting to look more and more likely that there will be a pretty good chunk of our region that gets 4 to 6+ inches of snow.

Up to 6 inches of snow could accumulate Saturday, with rates of 1 inch per hour. Roads will be covered and visibility will be low.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 2:40 p.m. EST on Thursday valid from Saturday 4 a.m. EST until Sunday 1 p.m. EST for Cass, St. Joseph and Berrien counties.
