A Flood Watch has been issued from Thursday morning to Monday morning. Some of these areas under the watch picked up four to eight inches of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday, with several more inches potentially through the holiday weekend.

Some of the holiday weekend storms will be strong but not severe, so the weather threat will be limited to mostly heavy rainfall and flash flooding.

After isolated rain chances on Thursday, more widespread rain and potential flooding will enter South Texas' forecast on Friday.
