These days of prayer are commonly known as the Five First Saturdays devotion. This devotion is considered by some to be the “unfulfilled part of the Fatima message," one Fatima expert told CNA.

Additionally, Archbishop Sample is inviting families and faithful to participate in First Saturday devotions, as Our Lady of Fatima encouraged.

The First Saturday devotion is based on apparitions of Our Lady to Sister Lucia of Fatima in the early 20th century.
