Emma Raducanu has confessed that she struggles to hear the continuous advice from her new coach, Francis Roig, despite achieving the fastest main draw Grand Slam win of her career.She needed only 62 minutes to defeat Japanese qualifier Ena Shibahara in her first US Open victory since her 2021 triumph.

Raducanu began her US Open campaign with an impressive 6-1 6-2 victory over Japanese qualifier Ena Shibahara. Before the victory, the British number one had now won a match at Flushing Meadows since her memorable US Open triumph in 2021.
