Wall Street's main indexes rose on Monday, clawing back losses from the previous session's tumble as hopes for deeper Federal Reserve rate cuts surged in the wake of an unexpectedly weak jobs report.

U.S. stocks are rallying and recovering much of their sharp losses from last week, when worries about how President Donald Trump’s tariffs may be punishing the economy sent a shudder through Wall Street.

U.S. stock-market futures advanced Sunday, after Wall Street ended last week with its worst session since April.
