Tampa Bay’s 17-6 record since May 20 is the best in baseball, and the Rays showed a lot of the reasons why Saturday.

The video was filmed during the Mets’ Pride Night game against the Tampa Bay Rays June 13. The national anthem portion of the event opened with a video showing the American flag. A Pride flag appeared on the jumbotron briefly mid-song.
The Rays (40-32) are currently a dangerous team with 72 games into the season. The team is ranked ninth in the league in runs scored (332), 13th in batting average (.251), and 15th in on-base percentage (.317). Three players have accounted for 10 or more home runs, including 14 from Brandon Lowe and 17 from third baseman Junior Caminero.
After Sunday’s miserable 9-0 loss to the Rays marked their first time getting swept all year, the Mets are finally facing something resembling adversity.
