It’s not just that hail is possible; Tuesday’s storms could once again bring severe hail. To be considered severe, hail must be at least 3/4 of an inch in diameter, that is about the size of a quarter. But we could see stones as large as ping pong balls or even golf balls.

Expect some scattered rain later in the day on Monday as a severe weather threat is forecast for Tuesday. Temperature highs will reach near 80.

HOUSTON — Severe weather moved through the Houston area on Friday. There were numerous Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and a Tornado Warning. The storms brought hail in parts of Liberty County and Harris County. We haven't seen or heard of any damage, but the watches and warnings were coming fast and furious throughout the day.
