Jeep-maker Stellantis​ is idling production at plants in Canada and Mexico and will temporarily lay off 900 workers in the Midwest.

Stellantis is halting production at various plants and laying off 900 workers due to new U.S. tariffs, affecting employees in Canada, Mexico, Michigan, and Indiana.

Stellantis plants that make Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge vehicles will see production paused. U.S. workers whose plants support them will be affected.
