Three weeks after revealing the Nintendo Switch successor, Nintendo finally revealed at what time the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will happen.

In addition to the date, now we know the exact time the direct will take place. As we settle in for the long, excruciating wait for more tangible news on the Switch 2, Nintendo has thrown us a little extra nugget of information.

Alongside finally revealing the Switch 2, Nintendo has given a date for a new Nintendo Direct, due on April 2 this year, which will presumably provide a far more detailed breakdown of the new console,

We now have an official time for the April 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, and it perhaps unsurprisingly falls in line with historical Nintendo Direct air times.

A Nintendo Direct focused on Nintendo Switch will take place on April 2nd, and we now know when the event will begin.

Nintendo has provided a smidge more information regarding its upcoming Nintendo Direct in April, focused entirely on the much-anticipated Switch 2 console. Scheduled to commence on 2nd April 2025, we now know that it will be broadcast at the following times:

At 150 million units sold, the Switch is close to overtaking the DS as Nintendo’s best-selling console.

We are aware that inflation is currently rising and that the exchange rate environment has changed significantly since the launch of the Nintendo Switch in 2017. We also need to consider the affordable prices that customers expect from Nintendo products.
