The second murder trial of Karen Read, a former adjunct professor and financial analyst who is accused of causing the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend, continues Monday with additional witnesses to be called to the stand.

Ms. Read’s retrial on charges that she killed her boyfriend, a Boston police officer, has so far largely resembled her first, which ended in a mistrial.
