Firefighters are battling a fast-moving wildfire reportedly threatening structures near the community of Acton that that has grown to an estimated 275 acres and prompted evacuation orders and warnings,

The Hawk fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m. in the 35900 block of North Trenmar Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The flames spread through medium brush. By Friday morning, firefighters had 42% containment of the blaze.
