The Minnesota Timberwolves announced in a press release on Friday that the team has launched an investigation after some of their fans violated the NBA's Fan Code of Conduct by allegedly making "racially charged" comments towards Warriors power forward Draymond Green during the team's second game against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night at the Western Conference NBA semifinals.

The Minnesota Timberwolves said a fan was ejected from Thursday night's win over the Golden State Warriors due to "an incident involving Draymond Green," and another fan left of his own accord after making "racially charged comments" to Green.

Multiple Minnesota Timberwolves fans allegedly uttered a racial slur at Warriors star Draymond Green during Game 2 on Thursday, according to a fan who witnessed the interaction inside Target Center. Adna "Nana" Maxamed is a Warriors fan based in Minneapolis with season tickets to the Wolves games.

The Golden State Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-88 in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday. They did that despite the fact that Stephen Curry left the game early with a hamstring injury that could also keep him out of Game 2. While that may worry Golden State fans, ESPN's Jay Williams isn't concerned.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry could return for Game 6 of the Minnesota Timberwolves series.  Curry suffered a Grade 1 left hamstring strain in Game 1.
