Virginia is among the 13 states in which an outbreak of Listeria and investigators are examining some chicken fettuccine alfredo products sold at Walmart and Kroger, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The company that made the meals issued a nationwide recall as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said they were linked to 17 listeria cases across 13 states.
