Days ahead of the 2025 WNBA trade deadline (Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. ET), the league-leading Minnesota Lynx made a big swing to try and bolster their title chances. Early on Sunday, the Lynx sent Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a 2027 second-round pick to the Dallas Wings for 2024 Most Improved Player DiJonai Carrington.

The Dallas Wings have moved DiJonai Carrington, with the Minnesota Lynx trying to add more talent as they gear up for another WNBA Finals run.

With an eye towards a WNBA title, the Minnesota Lynx have traded for guard DiJonai Carrington, the WNBA's reigning Most Improved Player and first team all-defensive selection.
