Former Edna Karr football standout Corey Adams has died from gunshot wounds suffered Saturday night, according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee.

Mississippi freshman defensive lineman Corey Adams, a three-star recruit from New Orleans, was shot and killed Saturday night near Memphis, Tenn. He was 18.
