The Clemson Tigers men's basketball team is about to see a pretty significant shift in their schedule starting this upcoming season, as the ACC has announced they will be shifting to an 18-game in conference format moving forward.

The ACC announced a new 18-game conference basketball schedule starting in the 2025-26 season. Here's how Clemson will be impacted.

Both schools are fixtures in the national conversation. Clemson enters the 2025 season riding a 14-year streak of at least nine wins, while Notre Dame has posted at least nine victories in eight straight seasons. The two teams have met in the CFP three times—2018, 2020 and 2024—and have split their four regular-season matchups since 2015.

Notre Dame and Clemson already know each other pretty well in football. That relationship will become even more familiar in the future after the two college football powers announced a 12-year home-and-home scheduling agreement on Tuesday that will pit them against each other annually from 2027 through 2038.
