In very 2025 Braves’ fashion, what looked like a really fun matchup in Bristol Motor Speedway between flamethrowing starters, Spencer Strider and Chase Burns turned into a massively delayed mud bowl with the Braves opting for a bullpen game instead of Strider after the delay.

The Braves and Reds will resume on Aug. 3 at Bristol Motor Speedway in the MLB Speedway Classic after the game was rained out on Aug. 2.
