Barnes & Noble has leaned into the popularity of book-themed content on TikTok, also known as "BookTok."

According to the Fast Company website, Barnes and Noble opened 57 stores around the country last year. This year, they're topping that number to 60 new stores. In fact, the company opened more stores last year than it did between 2009 and 2019.

A Barnes and Noble bookstore will be opening in Towne Center at Cedar Lodge in Baton Rouge. Doris Volentine, property manager for Towne Center, confirmed that Barnes and Noble signed a lease deal to move into a space at the shopping mall.

A Barnes & Noble bookstore in a Westchester County shopping center has set its closing date. The Barnes & Noble located in the City Center in White Plains at 230 Main St. will close on Easter Sunday,

Barnes & Noble will not be the only business opening in Rushmore Crossing. Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will be opening across from Sam's Club at 916 Eglin Street, with much of the structure of the new building completed. There has not been an announcement of an opening date as of yet.

Barnes & Noble has signed a lease to open a bookstore in Towne Center at Cedar Lodge, which will replace its longtime Citiplace location. The chain will take up spaces in Towne Center that had formerly been occupied by Morgan Claire Boutique and Pigtails & Crewcuts, said Doris Volentine, the property manager for the mixed use center.

National book retailer Barnes & Noble plans to open another location in Baton Rouge. The company signed a lease deal to move into a space at the Towne Center at Cedar Lodge, according to the agreement filed last week with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office.
