The Atlanta Falcons are currently trying to figure out how to recover from the disastrous way their 2024 season ended, in which Kirk Cousins’ play fell off of a cliff and Michael Penix Jr. was thrown into the middle of a playoff race that the Falcons ultimately missed out on.

“Spielman’s presence in the front office is sure to spark Kirk Cousins speculation,” ESPN’s Rich Cimini wrote on February 10. “As the Minnesota Vikings’ GM, Spielman signed Cousins to a huge free agent deal in 2018. Cousins, who enjoyed his most productive years in Minnesota, is likely to be cut or traded by the Atlanta Falcons in the coming weeks.

The Tennessee Titans desperately need to upgrade their quarterback, and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins could be a short-term answer.

Rumors now suggest that the Falcons are looking to trade Cousins, who's set to enter the second season of a four-year $180 million deal, and John Kosko of Pro Football Focus lists the Las Vegas Raiders as the best fit for him.
